New Mega Man Comic

At NYCC (New York Comic Con) yesterday they announced that Archie Comics would be publishing a new Mega Man comic. With artist Patrick Spaziante and Archie writer Ian Flynn on board, this looks like it's going to be something to pick up for all those Blue Bomber fans. Check out more after the jump.

You can view the Cover page, and a preview page here. I must say, Patrick's art really fits well with the Mega Man Universe.

Paul Kaminski, editor of the Sonic comic, and now Mega Man said “Since 1987, the enormously successful Mega Man franchise has conquered media from video games to television to manga. Archie Comics is ready to carry on this tradition of success, holding true to the spirit of the old school with a fresh eye on Mega Man’s strong potential in the world of American comics.”

I feel like it's the early 90's all over again with all this Mega Man. First we have the Mega Man Universe announcement, then Mega Man Legends 3, and now this. I'm on complete Mega Man overload, but definitely in a good way.
